The history behind this site
This site started out as part of a university course in Webdesign and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). When faced with the task of selecting a theme for my site I eventually decided on building as site describing beaches on the wonderful island of Samos, an island I currently have visited nine times.
The beaches presented on the site are those I so far have visited, I am planning further visits to Samos and will eventually add more beaches and photos.
Some information about me. I am from Sweden, 42 years of age and works as a systems developer building web based applications. Interests besides travelling include weight training and chess. I post some of my Samos related photos at Flickr and on Samos Photos.
I'm testing out Google Friends Connect as a means to provide the possibility to add user comments on the various beaches.
