Pythagorio
General information
This is a rather small beach in Pythagorio down by the harbour, also known as Remataki beach. It's a very nice sandy beach, sheltered and shallow, ideal for children. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Sunbeds and parsolls are available as well as showers. The bay is very a popular anchoring site for visiting sailboats.
If you are looking for watersports etcetera you are probably better of going to the larger Potokaki beach.
Make sure you do not miss the statue of Pythagoras on the pier next to the beach. Beer lovers should take the opportunity to sample some of the imported beers at Rosseto's, including Guiness on tap!
